Are you planning a trip to the Pokolbin region of the HunterValley? Or perhaps you are even travelling to us right now and wondering what the Pokolbin weather has in store for you.
The wine country region of Pokolbin and surrounding regions such as Rothbury, Lovedale, Broke, Wollombi and Mount View share a surprising ability to provide travellers with periods of sunshine and good weather even when close-by regions are not so lucky. Or perhaps that’s just my experience and positive outlook.
The best times to visit Pokolbin and its accompanying wine-growing regions are ‘Spring’ and ‘Autumn’, mainly due to the beautiful weather and the lush green of the vines. ‘Winter’ shows a different side to vineyard life and provides a time to just kick back and enjoy the wine. ‘Summer’ is just the way it is supposed to be hot and hopefully for the vignerons pretty dry.
